About us

Activities

Through our Connecting with the Carillon initiatives, we aim to serve as a cultural bridge between Japan and the global community, fostering international exchange through the universal language of music. By organizing composition competitions and other creative events, we seek to promote Japanese carillon music on the world stage.

Beyond music, we are committed to social contribution through interdisciplinary collaboration—partnering with other instruments like Carillon Plus and engaging with non-musical organizations to expand the reach and impact of our activities.

vision

The Association of Carillon Art in Japan is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to celebrating and preserving the cultural significance of carillon music. Our members share a deep appreciation for the unique beauty and emotional resonance of the carillon, and we are committed to passing this joy on to future generations.

Through performances, educational programs, international collaborations, and community outreach, we aim to build a vibrant carillon culture in Japan. We believe that consistent, goodwill-driven efforts—no matter how small—can create lasting cultural value. By engaging in hands-on activities and fostering connections across generations and borders, we hope to establish carillon music as an irreplaceable cultural asset.

Our work is grounded in the spirit of volunteerism and guided by the belief that music has the power to unite, inspire, and endure. Whether through concerts, composition contests, or interdisciplinary projects like Carillon Plus, we strive to make the carillon a living symbol of harmony and heritage.

It is said that there are 700 carillons in the world.
